Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1970 chevelle SS clone car. it is equipped with a 350 small block chevy high nickel 2 bolt main block that has been stroked and bored to 388cid. it produces roughly 380bhp with over 400lb ft of torque. It is backed by a 700r4 automatic overdrive transmission with lockup converter and has a 3.36:1 10 bolt posi rear end out of a 67 elcamino. Ceramic coated Hooker headers backed by full length 3inch exhaust that goes through flowmaster 40 series mufflers and exits through SS tailpipes. It was painted Indigo Blue last spring and has white ralley stripes in traditional gm design. it has SS fenders with new SS badging.it has 15inch chrome ralley wheels with the disk brake center caps. the tires have 90% tread left and are 245-60-15 up front and 275-60-15 tires out back. all tires are bf goodrich. It has a brand new wire harness front to back, new harness is for a 71 chevelle so the horn relay has been relocated to the firewall and the headlight harness has been modified to accept the 4 headlight setup. Also the car has been changed to accept the later side post battery with factory cables. it has a functional cowl induction hood with flapper door and vacuum pod. front bumper and front and rear window chrome as well as the rain channel chrome and door sill plates are original. the rear bumper, wheel well mouldings (not installed) are new factory pieces. The interior features an SS style dash, b&m shifter, cavalier front bucket seats, new carpet (black) and factory new headliner (not installed). rear seat is original as are the door panels and dash pad. The interior needs some work to make it show quality but is complete for a daily driver. I have the original a/c heater box (not installed) ready to go with the car. (yes the car was an original a/c car). I built the car 9 years ago. the body mounts are original and in good shape. all the rest of the front suspension is new poly bushings, new rotors, calipers, brake lines, proportioning valve, master cylinder are new factory pieces 9 years ago. the engine features a holley street avenger 770 cfm carb, edelbrock performer air gap intake manifold, comp cams 292 hydraulic cam, double roller timing chain, high volume water pump, march serpentine belt setup, new steering box, big block with a/c 4 row radiator, original fan clutch setup, billit MSD distributor and blaster coil, MSD 6AL ignition box with 7k rev limiter chip installed , accel ss plugs, taylor 8mm wires. The car also comes with a 4 layer car cover, viper alarm system and battery tender along with a tote of spare parts, (distributor caps, weatherstipping, even the original style radio. As i said i built this car bascially from the ground up 9 years ago and have only driven the car about 7,000 miles since the build. the car has also always been garaged and has only seen rain 2 times. There is only 1 spot of rust on the whole car and that is in the cowl area under the chrome cowl strip. it does not go into the firewall it is in the outer cowl portion. the floor pans and trunk are completely rust free. the only other problem i have found with the car is the wiper motor is siezed. Just to note, car was built in fremont in january 1970, the car was installed with a 1969 master cylinder and 1969 power steering pump, all the rest of the parts are of 1970 vintage. Also the only reason this vehicle has a salvage title is because the original owner passed away and the family gave the car to the wrecking yard. Jim Dyer of Jim Dyer Chevy Classics in Stockton, ca saved the car from the cutting torch and i bought it from him, the car was NOT previously wrecked!!!
