I purchased this truck from the original owner about five years ago. It's as plain or maybe as cheap as you could order a truck in 69. I have the original paper work, only upgrades was the four speed and heavy coils on the rear axel. Originally from Montana where it spent it's life until I purchased. If you have interest in a 3/4 ton this is a real good truck to bring back to new with out a lot of exspence. The owner used it as a work truck but took good care and kept under cover. There is no rust none. The inside is almost like new with no extra holes drilled or anything added. Of course the seat is used and the steering wheel is cracked. The exterior paint is origina,l cab is in very good condition, front windshield is cracked, grill plastic cracked. The bed has little dings from loading over the side. Inside of the bed looks rusty but it is only surface from not being used enough it's solid as a new. I have the original bumper for the rear. The 250 six cylinder motor is new long block with about 5000 miles papers to prove that. The only thing I used was the starter, carb. Also put in new clutch, flywheel, and bearing. Radiator was rebuilt and upgraded. Im sure Im missing something. Tires are 70-80 percent with the original split rims. I grew up driving these old pick-up. And the truck runs and drives just about the way it did right off the lot. I drive it twice a month about 140 miles. Lost interest need the storage space. I have kept it garaged not out in weather. It's just a old 100 percent built in U.S.A. Chevrolet that sure has aged well.On Mar-03-11 at 17:45:57 PST, seller added the following information:Answering questions, The brakes are good, emergency brake works good. All lights work headlights, turn signal, back-up, dome, and dash. Heater works good, these trucks had real good heaters. All the wiring is in very good condition all original the way it came from factory. This is not a new or mint restored pick-up. It has little dings and scratches. It is a real good original pick-up that has never been altered. And is close to as solid as the day it was purchased.On Mar-03-11 at 22:45:55 PST, seller added the following information: Answering, The engine uses no oil, no smoke. When I primed and started engine I ran it set the timing inspected ran up to temp. Shut it down changed oil and filter and took for test drive. It's not failed in any way. I think I've said in my description three times now. It's 42 years old, I don't want anyone thinking it's like new or restored condition because it's not. Solid yes, Very good condition for original paint, interior yes. Good solid tight running gear yes. Drives as well or close to as it did when it was new yes. Dings, scratches, worn seat, cracked steering wheel, grill cracks yes. There is no buy-it-now price on the truck. It has Oregon plate with about 16 months left on tags. If it's purchased you will pay cash when you pick it up. No checks of any kind.
