2000 VW Jetta VR6 - GREAT CAR! 119k Miles young! Car runs good and is very reliable mechanically - has a 6cd changer - nice sound system - VR6 engine - new o2 sensor - new ignition coils - good paint/body with no visible rust that I can find - 5k on new tires - transmission works good - all fluids changed at regular intervals, well maintained mechanically - 2 year old battery - brakes in good condition, replaced only a few years ago - shocks/struts in good condition, no problems - alignment done when tires changed 5k miles ago - black leather interior - heated seats - power sunroof, power moonroof - Engine runs VERY STRONG - KBB $4,038 valued - MAKES A GREAT RELIABLE WINTER BEATER FOR YEARS TO COME!!! Car is in overall great shape however there are some things wrong with it... PROBLEMS: - AC does not work, it just stopped working one day, not sure what the problem is but the system does hold a charge so it's likely electrical (relay maybe???) - Driver side door doesn't lock, works fine just doesn't lock, the lock mechanism needs repair - I'm missing the key fob for remote unlock/lock - Alarm system doesn't work so I disabled the alarm horn and disabled the alarm system in the ECU so it wouldn't inadvertently go off randomly - airbag light is perpetually on, however airbags have not been deployed, not sure what's up here... there's no code in the ECU for it either. - ABS light is on, however ABS DOES work, no code is thrown in the ECU for this either, not sure what's up here.
