1978 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible Hello VW lovers young and old. If you have been following my ads in the past I ask all to read the ads in it's entirety and any inflating of bids will not be tolerated. I have flawless feedback for a reason and I want to keep it that way. Ok back to the car, this is a California lifelong beetle convertible that I picked up a while back and I just got the car back from the paint shop Saturday . This has a driver quality paint job nothing special but looks very nice and is a good running super beetle convertible. I also have close to $1,000.00 in the just the rims and tires. The front tires are a little smaller but if you don't like that look I can put the same size all the way around at no charge. The interior has been freshened up with factory correct new seat covers ,door panels and floor mats. The car has a older convertible top and I will replace the convertible top within 48 hours of payment received . You will need to tell me what color black or white that you would like put on. I do this for 2 reason's first: if someone is looking at my beetle or another and the other doesn't have the top color you want no worries, mine will. The other reason is some on ebay or even locally as far as that is concerned will tell you the top has just been replaced which they mean 5 years ago and these are vinyl tops that do wear over time so by installing a new one you will know it is brand new and years of use and enjoyment. Everything that I know of works but we're talking about a 1978 Volkswagen beetle so they weren't perfect the day they were made and drive and sound much differently then cars of today. The brakes are in great condition and the transmission was checked and a new clutch was installed at the time the motor was rebuilt and there is only test miles on the engine or less then 5 miles but it runs perfect with a carbureted 1600 cc motor and a 4 speed transmission. If you're from California you will need to know you smog laws before bidding and do not assume anything. I will not be held responsible if your county having stricter smog laws. I won't smog this car so if that is a problem please simply do not bid. If you're in any of the other lower 48 states you will have no issue. I sell these beetles all over the country and all over the world from down the street to the Netherlands and so on and so on . I'm very easy to deal with as long as you follow my terms and I will help with shipping but all costs are at buyers expense.The glass is all in good shape no cracks,trim is fair shape,bumpers are in very good shape,lights work,windshield wipers work,and there is no rust in this car . The floor pans are in great condition with no rust or even pinholes. They are very solid as is the whole car. I have pictures of other beetles I have and that I have sold.
