1948 Cadillac series 61 four door, split windscreen 346ci Flathead V-8 with hydromatic transmission restored in 2009! First year for TAIL FINS, last year for flathead V-8, and only year for horseshoe gauge cluster. PROS: Engine rebuilt at PER in Portland, Or. (also helped with engine break in) Final tune up done at Majhors Portland, Or. Transmission rebuilt at CR Transmission in Portland, Or New interior (with Caddy lap belts added) All Original hardware 6v electrics w/ new period correct cloth wiring harness 1in sound dampening insulation in cabin with 3M panels in all 4 doors New exhaust system New Omni primer/ paint and 8X clear coat with color sand 3M 3000 grit buff All chrome replated at JB’s Portland, Or Too much to list…. CONS: 99.5% finished (just a few little things need to be nailed down) bits of trim and whatnot. The white walls featured in the pictures have been removed, they are now black Have all the documentation of what I bought and where I bought it as well as who fixed what.
