For your consideration is a 1989 GMC SLE Crew cab truck , this truck is in amazing conditon considering it is 22 years old. I recently purchased this truck from the son of an elderly gentleman that had recently passed away. I purchased the truck to use in my business , but while driving it home , I made the decision that it is far to nice to do so. I can only provide you with the information that the gentleman that I purchased it gave me and with what I have seen from the paper work in the glove box. The previous owner has owned it from 1991 till present, and during that time no paint work has been done on the truck. The paint appears to be original as he said. Any flaws in the trucks appearance will be plainly shown in the photos , I have not had this truck detailed , I have only washed it , and with that said it is extremely clean. please read this listing carefully , and feel free to ask any questions prior to the end of the sale. I would be happy to show you this truck in person , for your inspection. I will not negotiate price after the auction ends. I will list the important issues as follows This truck only has 30,450 original miles, and the title shows actual miles . it runs and drives good ,with no issues Options tilt, air, ps, pb,rear sliding glass, factory am/fm/cassette ,power windows, power locks, full factory guages, owner installed cb,window tint, and electonic compass, all options work as they are supposed to , the windows aren't slow , up or down The power lock switch on the driver side will lock all doors , but won't unlock Passenger door works both ways The interior is in immaculate conditon with no burns , tears , rips , or wear issues , there is only one crack in the dash that is shown in the pics. Exterior The paint and body are both in good condition , they are not perfect , please remember this is a 22 year old truck and would benifit from a fresh coat of wax Doors open and close well There is no rust issues with the body at all The only damages are in the pics. they are minor , but I have photographed any blemishes that I found. There is a few holes in the bed floor , due to a fifth wheel hitch that was installed , and removed in the early 90's The toolbox in the bed is in good conditon , and locks The tires are the original tires , they are dry rotted but have good tread, I drove the truck 40 miles home , but they will need to be replaced. This truck was garage kept , and never driven in poor weather conditons , or salted roads Mechanical The engine starts and runs well , it is a fuel injected 454 , the transmission shifts well it is a turbo 400 both are original , there is no smoke , knock , or slip from either Both fuel tanks switch and work as they should , I beleive the fuel in them is stale , but will be putting some fresh gas in later today. The brakes work as they should , and it drives straight on the road like a 30,xxx mi truck should. This is a one of a kind truck , and will be sure to make the new owner very proud.
