Up for auction is a 1989 Toyota Pick-up 4X4. The truck is a regular cab, Blue Toyota pick-up. The truck is equiped with a 3.0 V6 Engine and a manuel transmisson. The truck needs some work. The truck will crank but will not stay running. I replaced the spark plugs, changed the oil and removed the air filter but it still will not stay running. I thought that the exhaust was stopped up, so I cut the Converter off it, but still no change. If you start the truck and continue to pump the gas and/or squirt starter fluid down the intake you can make it contine to run. I purchased the truck and the owner said it had just been sitting and just needed a tune up, but something else is wrong. To be a 1989 model, it has a pretty good body, no rust on the frame, the frame looks great. The body looks good other than the clear coat is pealing off. The only rust on the body is on the bottom of the bed, next to where the tail pipe was. The truck has right at 201000 oringal miles on it. The title is a Virginia title that is clear with No Liens.
