This is a very nice Mustang and it turns heads. The only reason the car is for sale is the owner passed and this is to settle his Estate. Mr. Carter bought this car from the original owner many years ago. This was his pride and joy and great care was aleays taken in its care. The car has been garaged kept as long as he owned it. You can tell as it does not have the issues that occure with these cars. The floors,trunk pan,frame rails ect... are all in very good condition. The car runs and drives very good. Sa you can see from the photos the seats are out of the car. They are in the process of being redone due to a cat that got inside the car and put claw marks in the top of the seats. They were not that bad but it will look like new when finished. These are not cheap covers being used. They are like Factory spec with hog rings and installed by a professional. I will upload the pictures next week. This is not a frame off nut and bolt restoration. Most of the car is original inc. V-8 289, auto trans, with updates as needed like hoses belts ect.. The car has had the lower quarter panels replaced. The paint is in good shape for a car that can be driven every day if you like. It is not perfect and has some nics and a few paint chips but very nice over all. The top is in very good condition as you can see. I do not think you will need to do much to maintain this car as long as it is kept out of the weather. If you have been looking for a nice older v-8 convertible Mustang this is one to consider.
