This truck is solid and never let me down I bought it with the above referenced salvaged title and I can tell you the only real flaw it has is that piece of paper. The report shows the salvage title is due to being sold at auction not from damage please look carefully. I highlighted the vehicle check below for you. We depend on our feedback and care about doing right by others. No one will know the difference except you and the DMV I have used this truck as my primary vehicle for years with no issues. When I got it, I had the recommended top of the line Toyota maintenance completed at the100K mile mark including new timing belt, water pump, all seals, all gaskets, all belts, this was done by our top Toyota mechanic who is also a college instructor for Toyota mechanics (FAS Foreign Auto Services of Ramona, Ca.) Bottom line this truck is what Toyota meant it to be, solid. The only non-original part is the truck bed, and again, you just can't tell. Interior and Cab: Good interior, no major issues, but is 11 years old, no rips, no dash crack No window cracks, all windows function well No leaks of any kind in interior or cab Doors shut and lock solid Factory AM/FM CD and cassette works well Body: Doors and door seals all functioning and close well, no issues No major dents or scratches Tail gate has minor scratches and a typical "guy" dent in the middle, not an eyesore Front drivers fender has minor wear/scratches from a recent popped tire Outer sides of bed have typical marks from usage (tie downs, etc.) Bed has brushed in (rhino type) bedliner Factory Pre-Runner TRD wheels The Bed was replaced before I bought it and is done professionally with a seamless factory look I chose not to have the TRD stickers on the bed, they are an inexpensive purchase if you so choose Mechanical: Good, solid running, no leaks, no issues, shifts smoothly, runs and runs, no overheat ALWAYS had full synthetic and on-time oil changes A/C and Heater work well and blower is strong New Front Brakes Shocks are in good repair Tires 31 x 10.5 x 15 are mismatched brands on the rubber, but decent and in running order Plug for boat trailer (we did not use the truck for regular hauling as we have a bigger truck too) Head lights, turn signals back, up lights, tail lights all in working condition 3.4 liter V6 Auto Trans w/ overdrive Cruise control Factory push button locking differential for off roading Factory pre-runner lift PLEASE SEE PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS BEFORE BIDDING: *$500.00 paypal deposit is due the day of the auction close (no tire kickers at MY expense), no exceptions *Again, the above $500.00 paypal deposit is due the same day as the auction closes, questions? On Feb-01-11 at 00:39:28 PST, seller added the following information: To answer another question: The truck is currently registered in San Diego California (where I live), it is driven now, I have had it smog checked (and passed smog check) twice in California which is required for California registration. The truck clearly passed smog testing as you can not get registered in California without a clean smog. If the truck sells on e-bay to a California buyer, it will pass smog upon transfer to the new owner. There are also no back DMV (motor vehicle registration) fees due on the truck, it is currently registered and driven. Again, we are a normal family that has used this truck as our daily driver for years. Look at our feedback and star (DDSR) ratings and bid with confidence. This is a great deal on a solid truck.
