1987 BUICK TURBO-T WE4 W02 Hello im selling my turbo -t for all you grand national people out there! Ive only had this car for about 14 months and dont want to sell it ..but unfortunatly im without a job and dont have the funds for a ''toy in the garage''. My plans were to do a frame off restoration, custom interior, and a 4.1 stage 2 block, custom suspension, brakes...the whole 9 yards but as they say my loss is your gain! OK about the car, I purchased it in orlando fl. from i believe was the second owner who had recently had a few things done to it including a beefed up transmission! From what he told me the owner before him did most of the performance upgrades...I did drive it back from Florida to Ohio without any problems! Fast car! THE BAD 1. The motor leaks small amounts of oil, appears to be coming from the valve covers (which oil leaks are very common for these cars) 2. The exhaust smokes a little at start up. 3. the hood latch needs adjusted, it does open and close but is a little tricky. 4. There is an odometer discrepancy on the title (was told due to the aftermarket 145 speedo) the milage on the dash reads 09070 miles/ 109070 possibly? the car is in too good of shape to have ''high miles'' however. I was told this is the correct milage with 5000 on motor since rebuild. THE GOOD The long list of performance upgrades include Champion iron heads, ported intake, aust roller, roller lifters, f-body radiater, Extender chip with maf translater2, alkycontrol, ta-60 or 62 turbo, crane cam, 65lb injectors, 3'' down pipe,Hooker 2.5 dual exhaust w/ elect.dump valve, Cummins front mount intercooler, 19 lbs boost, big filter, Scanmaster. Trans includes super servo alto red eagle band,reworked valve body w/ shift kit from pts extreme automatics, hardend stator support, kevlar clutches and hp clutches, extra clutches on front set, 3500 stall purple converter from precision industries. Was told around 1000 miles on trans. Suspension includes red tubular lower control arms, umi upper,eibach 1'' lowering springs in rear which causes some rubbing on the rear tires (also have newer factory rear springs), fender to core support bracing, and the brakes have been changed over to vacuum.-THE CAR DOES NEED A NEW AC COMPRESSOR! OK THATS ALL I CAN THINK OF AND IM PROB LEAVING SOMETHING OUT SO IF I REMEMBER ANYTHING ILL ADD IT! The car was dynoed in 2003 with 417 rwhp and 491 rwtq supposedly has 485 hp now and ive never taken it to the strip but would say it might run low 11's. I have a stack of paper work and reciepts/documents. Ive only put around 700 miles on car since ive had it and it just sits in the garage! Oh yeah I put new battery in it and a 200 amp alternator. The paint does have some imperfections (see pics) but body is straight and solid...not a showcar but a nice cruiser! and the car does have drag radials so not advised for driving in snow or rain!
