If you are someone that likes to keep a low profile and would be bothered by people glares, questions or people constantly approaching you with questions about the car, this is not for you. if you are looking for a perfect car in mint factory condition this is not it. The car could use some TLC but is mechanically sound. * rare "AMG" front spoiler under front bumper-Black wrinkle *rare "AMG" rear apron under rear bumper-black wrinkle * w126 side skirts-black wrinkle *Black wrinkle grill *Unmolested true Euro car, Euro bumper, lights. *Curb weight 3901 * AMG 18x8.5 front chrome wheels with 235/40/zr18 tires *AMG 19x9.5 rear chrome wheels with 255/35/zr19 tires *Nardi 390mm wood wheel with "Mercedes 1977 circa horn button" *wood Shift knob * rare power rear bench seat working * chrome is very good condition * trim is decent *all glass is original and in good condition *Mercedes Benz blue floor mats *dual exhaust without mufflers through tube silencers) *0-60 in 6.4 seconds, 151 MPH top speed (don't bother wasting my time telling me a 6.9 is not that fast-Your 6.9 is not my 6.9) Vehicle has traction you have to try hard to cause wheel spin on hard launch *Factory stock 286 hp euro engine with timing/fuel tweaks only. * AMG circa 1976 rear coil springs-bilstein gas pressure shocks * Reworked front self leveling-entire system redone in 2005-rides perfect *Aluminum deck lid *Landaulet style roadster with integrated roll bar over driver, passenger and reinforced frame, done properly with a factory appearance-no a hack job. a Properly engineered conversion based on a German TUV approved blueprint. *battery relocated to trunk over right wheel *Transmission replaced in 2001 built to handle 600ft lbs of torque *Front bumper has quarter size dent next to license plate *center console was dyed in 2000 and starting to flake a bit *door panels were dyed in 2000 and showing a few chips on hard material portion *NO AIR CONDITIONING-It's a Roadster *NO Cruise control *windshield washer tank removed and never replaced Please note that the chrome trim or strip below the passenger side of the car is now missing. It was not secured properly and when I took it on a high speed run and it must have blown off. This is a readily available cosmetic part as the trim piece from a standard 450 SEL is identical and is not very expensive. In addition, the car has a 50 state legal emissions sticker. Prior to Washington state the car was registered in California which has some of the most stringent emissions laws so this car would not pose any registration or emissions problems in any state.
