Vehicle Detail
Very rare dealer installed DUAL QUADS. Original nailhead engine and transmission and rear end. Has every thing you want including the center console shifter. I put $2,000 into in August: new brake shoes, new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder, new battery and starter. Previous owner rebuilt the engine and it sounds great. Have new plugs and wires, distibutor cap and points which I have not installed yet. Previous owner said tranny was also rebuilt but it won't shift into gear. Might just be linkage. This is NOT an MZ car. But still very rare. Good luck finding a GS with original dual quads. The body is the worst part but not too bad. A good bodyman could bring her back quite easily. Mostly surface rust except for trunk which is completely gone. Really would like to see it go to a Riviera enthusiest. I have every part. Bumpers are off the car but I have them and all the trim. This IS a project. Don't think you're going to get in and drive it away. But it's very close and solid. Good luck bidding! On Jan-27-11 at 12:33:39 PST, seller added the following information: NOTICE AS OF JAN.27, 2011. Here's the story guys, I wasn't prepared for all your questions! I don't know anything about these cars but many of you have helped answer some and have told me I might have something here. We just got another foot of snow in Boston so I'm not getting under it for tranny #'s or posi identification, etc. I will take more pics of trunk, frame, inner doors, floors, etc when the weather gets better. I will have carb #'s, tranny, engine#'s, options, etc, etc, I sincerely thank all of you for help. Some of you guys seem to really know these cars inside out!! LOOK FOR IT IN MID-MARCH!!! Thanks, Steve (781) 249-0537 Feel free to call me if you place a bid.
