For sale is a classic1968 Pontiac Firebird Features: * 400 cu. in. engine (i was told this engine was replaced w 400 it is not verified) * 2 bbl carburetor * Dual Exhaust * Automatic Transmission * Original console * Hood Tach *original a/c car but not w car now *bucket seats *console The Good: * Good front end ~ bumper, grill, front valance * Good front fenders * Good 350 hood * Good doors * Good solid floor * 400 cu. in. engine runs strong, smooth ** * Car runs, and drives * New master cylinder and 4 new wheel cylinders * New voltage regulator * New fuel pump, fuel line & in-line filter * Rebuilt 400 cu. in. engine (per previous owner) * New 2 bbl carburetor (per previous owner) * Cleaned out the gas tank * Brake shoes all have plenty of wear left on them * Clear Texas title * 160 mph speeometer * new carpet/vinyl top *new rear valance in the box goes w sale of car *Runs And Drives The Bad: *it needs a power steering pump, but i am trying to locate 1 before sale * Hit in the left rear ~ Damaged tail-light panel, bumper, rear valance, (i have new oem rear valance and new tail light), ) it will need rear valance replaced and this will be a awsome car! *door panels missing *windsheild cracked * Car is not inspected ... never even tried This car's biggest need is body work. n paint! I have limited body experience, so I am selling it to someone who can properly fix it up. The first owner had it until 2009. She put it in her son's name, who sold it to me. I was told The son replaced the engine with a 400 cu. in. The transmission is the original 2-speed automatic. The bucket seats are fair and recoverable both door panels r missing. The carpet has been replaced. The floor pans look to be unusualy solid, 'with very little rust.' Please see the attached photographs. I have tried to be as honest as possible, and took many pictures of the damage. I could have taken more flattering photographs, but I want you to know what you are bidding on. If you live in the area, I would be happy to show you the vehicle before you buy ... so you can know exactly what you are buying. The car must be viewed and picked up in campwood approx 110 miles w of san antonio tx. It is probably best to trailer it ... NO TIRE KICKERS OR CURIOUS ONES PLEASE! I AM VERY AWARE OF THIS CARS VALUE AND IT IS PRICED RIGHT!
