You are looking at a 1980 BMW R100 that I have owned for over a decade. Its original configuration was as a R100T and was cosmetically converted to a R100S model about two years ago. The bike has been very reliable and well cared for and runs very well. The finish is superb, as you can see from the pictures. The silencers have been recently replaced, and ALL parts on the bike are BMW parts. The bike sports Lester wheels and the tires are in very good condition. The mileage listed is accurate, but not precise to the exact mile as I had to replace the odometer 9343 miles ago. The fluids have been changed at least annually since my ownership and I have a few extra filters and other items that will come with the bike. I am not excited about letting this bike go but am doing so for family reasons. This motorcycle is sure to offer many more years of motorcycling pride and pleasure to its next owner. The bike can be picked up and ridden away by the purchaser or the purchaser can arrange for shipping. A $500.00 deposit is due upon sale. On Jan-24-11 at 06:33:34 PST, seller added the following information:I failed to mention that new rear shocks were also installed at the conversion. I would like to be more precise in saying that all BODY parts are original BMW parts. The shocks, braided hydraulic brake lines, and silencers are high quality aftermarket items.
