Vehicle Detail
1973 Corvette Stingray Up for auction is my 1973 Corvette Stingray. It has a 350 SBC V8 with a Turbo 400 Automatic Transmision. Car runs and drives Strong and shifts well. Odometer reads 150K miles. Has the original Rochester Quadrajet Carb that I rebuilt today. Also, have an HEI Distributor that I was thinking of putting on as well that comes with the car. Has the original distributor on it. Has Chrome Valve covers and Moroso breather cover. I put a Sony detachable face CD player in the car with matching Sony speakers. Needs a front nose bumper cover and some general TLC. Has a vaccum leak somewhere as most Corvettes do because the lights go down at times but not up. I just manually do this for now and that works fine. I put a new light actuator in the front on left side. Lights all work, blinkers work. Has The Original Rally Wheels and I will get newer pictures up with the Trim Rings and Center Caps on as well. It has Power Steering and PB. I installed new Strut Rods in the rear and rear shocks as well. Calipers are relatively newer and brakes work good. I put new door locks in with keys and a nice chrome locking gas cap as well. The Frame is Great. First thing I looked for when I bought the car. There is no rust on the frame what so ever so that is a major plus with these cars. All emblems are on the car including Stingray on the sides and front emblem as well. Has spare tire holder on bottom of the car. The Interior is in great shape. Seats have no rips but some color fade and the door panels and dash/console are nice and supple. All clusters and gauges are intact. Door panels have a couple spots where the screws go in to hold and arm rest but nothing major at all as you can see in the pics. The car has an AC, I just took it out to try and see if I could get it working but I do have it and wil re-install it for you before the sale. It needs a charge. Also, I am currently trying to figure out the blower/heat as well. I cant get it to blow the air at the moment but am trying to find out about it. Body will need to be worked in minor spots and Ill try and get some pics. There is a couple cracks in the rear where the left bumper is that can easily be fixed. Car needs paint. T-Tops work great. Everything is all here, all knobs and handles. New Battery. Carpeting is nice shape and comes with Corvette rubber floor matts. Will need some new tires soon. All in all an awesome car and with a little work, this would make a great muscle/sports car for someone. Email me with any questions and I can give you my telephone number if serious and I can take more pictures for you as well. $6500 is a great price and I really dont want to go any lower, sorry. Basically just needs paint and some TLC. Thanks Paul.
