Vehicle Detail
This re-listing has more photos and data. My 1929 Ford Sedan is a great stock driver with Texas antique title and current plates. Originally out of Georgia, it changed hands on bill of sale there before it went to Fort Worth, Tx. I have bills of sale to ‘89. When I brought it to Austin, I paid all taxes and cleared the title. Car has been garaged kept. It has a strong engine and a solid rebuilt tranny that I got thru the local model A club and put in when I first got it. It cruises nicely at a blazing 45 mph on quiet roads. Photo shows the engine number. It appears to be a ’30 engine. Not certain what type head that is. It steers well, tho I wanted to rebuild the steering column for both looks and long life. The mechanical brakes work fine but I don't trust them to stop fast enough for busy traffic. The car has a Zenith carb and the original 6V electric system, tho a previous owner converted to a 6V alternator. The original style exhaust system is leak free from end to end. The car has nearly-new 21 in. whitewalls all around and on the spare. All the spoke rims are true. The stainless bumpers are in excellent condition. Windows all work w/ new regulators in back. The older re-done upholstery and the two-toned paint job are both presentable. Photo shows a rust spot on the front driver's side where the apron meets the frame but the body is otherwise solid. Photo without the floormat in place shows good condition of front floor and firewall area. Also included are many undercar pics as requested. The car comes with car cover, some specialty tools, some spare parts, manuals, and catalogues. All the early Fords are well supported in the after-market. Terms: $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due in 48 hours of auction close. Balance due in 7 days from auction close. My bank holds the title. Title released after all remaining funds clear. Shipping is responsibility of buyer.
