1979 Lincoln Town Car - 11,600 actual miles. Williamsburg Edition (note: sans Opera window ) - This Lincoln is one of the lowest mileage Lincolns that you will ever see! Most recently a Lincoln with a cloth interior with more mileage sold for $15,400 ---- this car has been in a controlled environment for its entire life and again, has perfect leather and super low actual and original mileage. I would also point out that it has not suffered from intense sunlight or heat as cars in Florida (for example) would normally be subject to. The rubber weather stripping around the doors and trunk is soft and supple like new because it is new! Although I am not a dealer of cars, I have owned over 80 cars in my life and this ranks in the top (3) --- it is the most elegant and striking and the color of the car has to be seen in person to truly appreciate how the color responds to the eye and how deep in looks in sunlight - on request I will provide a link to where a town photographer took a picture of the car during the summer with a very good camera and you will see how the photos that I have taken with a digital camera do not do it justice. Really this car is striking! If you know these cars and you've a keen eye and you really examine these photos carefully, you will see that this car is in more pristine condition than nearly all other low mileage Lincolns. You will see a perfect interior with even a photo at the bottom of the front passenger seat showing the plastic that is not fully cut away . . . I left it there to show that no one had ever actually sat in the seat before I received the car. The leather, the ceiling, the dash etc. are equal to new. Look at the rubber on the doors and trunk and you will see that it is deep black and to the touch is soft like new. This car was under a cotton cover for 31 years fully out of sunlight. It is a miracle! All belts and hoses are new (all replaced parts are saved in a box for buyer) and the electronic ignition unit (there was nothing wrong with the original). The engine has new spark plugs but boasts its original spark plug wires. Oil and filter changed. Air Conditioning is fully charged and ICE COLD and working perfectly! The under body is fully undercoated from the date of purchase - the Michelin tires were ordered on the car and they are the original tires with no dry rot or fatigue. The finned aluminum wheels are perfect. COLOR: I would call this car turquoise colored both inside and out. The exterior is two shade of turquoise. The top is slightly lighter than the sides and makes this car truly elegant. The radio and quad system work perfectly as does the power antenna. The side view mirror is heated. The interior is mint! The carpet is equal to new and not marked or stained in any way. Brakes, transmission and engine working perfectly. No known hesitations or issues. Clock does not work and headlamp doors rise once engine is turned off - these are the only remaining things to care for. The car sat for 31 years with occasional starting of engine and tire movement - There is no warranty and the car is sold on an "as is" basis. However, it is clear that one could buy the car today and drive to California today with the expectation that the car is like new and it fully dependable. PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS VERY UNUSUAL TO FIND A CAR LIKE THIS THAT IS FULLY UNMOLESTED. NO RUST, NO WEAR, LITTLE USE AND SUPER LOW MILEAGE. FULL LEATHER IS PERFECT AND THE CAR DRIVES AND OPERATES AS NEW.
