1975 Super Beetle Convertible 76,990 Miles Welcome to my Auction all V.W fans young and old. Please check out my flawless feedback and other beetles I have sold. Also please look over pictures,video and entire Ebay listing. I ask this so there is no disagreement and nobody try's to tarnish my feedback . This Super Beetle is a 1975 that runs perfect with only approximately 1500 miles on a $3000 complete rebuild and not a cheap re-ring most call a rebuilt engine. New pistons,rods,rings,bearings,wrist pins,crankshaft,cam shaft,lifters and most of all Brand New Heads and a upgraded oil system with a external oil filter and 2 quart capacity oil cooler so this never ever ever ran hot! The clutch and pressure plate was also replaced at the same time with around 1500 miles on them. Mechanically speaking this is top of the line and so much above the beetles you see online, but again this is a fuel injected 1975 beetle and not a new car with the technology of the 70s. That means they don't sound,feel or handle like the cars of today and that is why there so much fun and so highly collected. The body is excellent with only one ding in drivers side rear fender so small that there are bigger dings in brand new fenders you would buy as replacement which I would absolutely not change any sheet metal for any reason they are that straight and ready for that beautiful new paint job. Now of course this car can be driven exactly as it is and it does look ok and you could easily drive this for 5 to 10 years if you wanted, but I want to be clear the paint is dull where it was exposed to the California heat and in my opinion it should be repainted at some point but it would not cost much as the body is so nice. there is only a small bubble in the paint and no rust visible and the floor pans also are in very nice condition solid and no rust. The convertible top will be replaced with a brand new one free of charge. You will need to let me know if you prefer a Black top or a white top and I will install the top in 48 hours of end of auction. There are new seat covers and new carpet and the door panels and in great condition. All in all the interior needs very little if anything to be a nice driver quality car. Once I send pictures and video of bill of sale and title which is a Clear OPEN California Title. I ask for speedy payment by cash in person,or Bank Wire transfer. No paypal or checks of any kind as they are a hassle and can be held up to 12 days and neither one of us wants to wait that long to get this done so Bank wire if out of state or not coming within 72 hours or 3 days of auctions end.Full payment by Bank Wire must be sent again no later then 72 hours and if over seas my bank doesnt use a bic /swift number so only a routing number and bank account number will be sent. If you will not be around at auctions end and you may be the winning bidder I need a phone call 805-423-4559. Your phone call is your deposit and if no contact is made in 1 hour of auctions we may sell to next bidder or re list. this car is sold as is and all sales are final. If for any reason your not familiar with beetles and or don't know the values its your responsibility to bid with in your means. You may hire a independent inspector to do a top to bottom inspection at your cost if your not 100% sure of what your buying. If you see my feedback it doesn't lie . I find excellent California Only Beetle Convertibles all over California and travel 10's of 1000's of miles to find these gems and people sometimes don't take into consideration what it takes to be able to offer these cars at no reserve. I wanted to mention that there is a clear California open title in hand and it has current registration and is insured. Also I forgot to mention the windshield has a crack but isn't obstructing the drivers view . I have a good used one that I could install for an extra $150.00 or I would take $150.00 off final bid and you can replace it yourself. Also above I mention in my opinion the car should be repainted at some point . There is normal wear and tear on the paint from driving it daily. Thanks for looking.
