1999 BMW M3 Convertible _-=+*NO RESERVE*+=-_ The good: First of all if your looking at M3's then you should know what they are about. Legendary for their speed, handling, and overall quality. The engine is an inline 6 cylinder that peaks at 276 horsepower. It has immaculate shifting and the handling is incredible. Automatic transmission only with convertible models of this year, but has tiptronic shifting modes (economy, sport, and manual). 4 caliper anti-lock brake system and aerodynamic design. The car is simply FAST despite its age. 6 cd changer. On board computer that gives a wealth of information. Built in flashlight with charger in glove box. Driver, passenger, and side air bags, and a convertible top that works. Air conditioning and heating work great. And the brakes are 6 months new. The overall highlight is this is a great car for the price. The bad: Minor scuffs and wear of paint, minor damage on passenger rear panel near the wheel. Different right turn signal from a 325i, fog lights do not operate because they need wiring. windshield spray is unhooked. Gas tank needs plastic handle. Convertible top looks great on the outside, but inside material needs ties. the back seat leather is in good condition. The two front seats have rips. The shift area is missing the designator (R, D, 1,2,3,4 ). The convertible top works and goes down you just need to assist it a little bit, and their is a tiny plastic piece missing. tires are a 6/10. If you are looking through this and have read both the good and bad sections keep in mind: A. The price of the vehicle, but also the honesty involved in this auction. i have disclosed everything one would want to know. In short, if you would like the chance to own a European Legend for a fraction of the normal price, despite what i would say is minor setbacks then this is your deal. I would estimate that it would take 1,900 to make the car in top condition. I am selling this Vehicle because I am deploying to Iraq and haven't a place or person who can tend to it. When one says that a car was not driven aggressively and its for an M3 then they are lying. i never drove this vehicle hardly, however it is a racing vehicle. For some reason there is no speed limiter so you can burry it at around 176....YES 176 MPH!!! They gave this vehicle a 90 on the report for a reason!!!!!
