WELCOME TO ANOTHER "NO RESERVE" AUCTION !! This rare 1970 Ford Ranchero 500 has been well cared for both cosmetically and mechanically. It is a very clean and reliable vehicle, ready to drive anywhere. This auction also has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. If winning bidder is in Southern California, I can assist with delivery, I also deliver to the shipping terminals in the Los Angeles area on a weekly basis. Also, I plan on selling many of the cars in my collection this year, so it will benefit other collectors and those of you that already know me and what I have to continue watching my listings! Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! Cosmetically, this Ranchero is very clean, straight, and rust free, it is an easy 9 on a scale of 1-10 overall. The Corvette yellow paint is fairly new and looks excellent, but is not "show" quality, just well above daily driver quality. There is a small stone chip on the gravel guard below the front bumper (see pic) other than that there are no dings or dents anywhere, the car is straight as can be. The top part of the grill "sags" as there are 2 small cracks in the plastic that you can't see unless you open the hood, they are repairable. Upon inspection you will see that there is no rust or rot on this car, it is a solid California car originally built in San Jose. The floors and undercarriage look excellent. The bed area is in perfect shape. Windshield has a vertical crack, all other glass is clean and medium tinted. The interior is also well above average, the only flaws being a slight tear on the driver seat where it flips up, moderate wear on the drivers carpet edge and sun cracks on the replaceable dash pad. Headliner is new and everything else looks great.The interior is equipped with Sun-Pro Gauges, Split Bench Seat and B&M Ratchet Floor Shift Console. Steering column mounted tach has stopped working for some reason. The original Philco radio has never been removed from the dash. Factory original bumper jack is also included. Mechanically, this Ranchero is tight and running well, the original engine starts up and sounds excellent, it is a mildly built, gear driven 302 and has plenty of power! Really nice Edelbrock performance carb, cam and air cleaner assembly. The tires are wrapped around Eagle Alloy wheels and have at least 85% tread life, wheels are very nice, no curb rash or damage. This car is also equipped with front disc brakes. I have in hand the clean and clear California title on this Ford. I have placed the vehicle on non-op status with DMV, so no back fees are due. The car is located in Moreno Valley, California 92551 (Southern California) near March Air Base. I encourage personal inspections and am available Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm for personal viewing.
