1972 Mazda 618 2-Door, Inline 1800cc 4 Cylinder 4 Speed I have had this Car since the 1990’s and it is now up for Auction. The Engine Was rebuilt 30-40,000 ago. a little about that. Bored .40 out, Line bored, Balanced, new bearings throughout This Engine has the Factory Dual Point The Head was Ported, the Valves received a 7 way Grind. As well as new Valve Springs the Camshaft is a Performance Street Cam. This Engine runs exceptional and was built for Daily Driving. as far as carburetion is concerned, it has a Weber 2 Barrel has the Factory intake with a risor, and a Weber air filter. The Transmission is a Factory 4 Speed that was re-conditioned The Clutch is a Centerforce competition Clutch the Factory Hydraulic Clutch system is a recent replace. Plus I have a Spare Slave The Rear end had Bearing replacement when all the Running Gear was redone The Brake System was re-built and in nice shape. The Vehicle was re-painted when the running gear was redone though it is failing as this car never seen a Garage in the years since The Left Qtr Panel had a light tag done to it by me in my driveway. As you can see in the Pic’s, the Interior is original. Needs to be redone. The Front Suspension could use refurbishing as it is a little on the loose side. A couple years back the Accelerator Pedal broke and I had to re-Attach it and there is some Surface rust where the Heal would go now. The Odometer is non functioning
