1994 Lincoln mark VIII, had been completely refurbished. Car is a beautiful Champaign color and was completely refurbished three years ago has been garaged ever since. It has not been driven more than 10 times since. You asked what happened. I had the car back about 100 days. I was approaching a green light and the person in the lane next to me jerked their steering wheel to go into my lane and side hit the car on the driver’s side, knocking me out of my lane. Macco estimated a $1,300.00 repair that I did not have to put into this after the refurbish. (Driver side front fender and rear Quarter damage. This car has new: Windows, window seals, completely new body and paint restoration before the knock out of the lane, a replaced leather interior, carpet clean as can be, wood trim interior, new headlights, new turn signals, new chrome trim, AC conversion power, DVD changers, VCR, Pioneer TV-multimedia, EQ’s, all Boston speakers and cross over’s, LJ-Audio subs-woofers’, and amplifies, Pioneer systems and head-end interface, five different 5.1 surround sound system, amplifiers, new wheels, new tires, new brakes, new cross drilled and cut rotors, trans is dealer replaced, car runs assume, very fast Mark VIII, the list goes on and on. I have a Mercedes now and I need a truck, not a second car. Inssurer cash settled for the fact that the car was to custom for them to feel that it was worth it. It is only body damage and the car still drives like bullet. On Dec-18-10 at 17:52:10 PST, seller added the following information: Unfortunately the shadowing of the trees is affecting pics. The car looks 10 times better without all the shadowing. I had permanently adjusted the suspension to ride lower than normal. The car looks like a low rider in some respects but, it can be raised. I know that the lift module under the front passenger side carpet could be replaced even though the care will lift some. The air does come out sitting a day as this is always caused by the o-ring seals that are very cheap and can be replaced easily at the end of each hose. The air bags in the rear are free of any defects and the front struts and airbags that are all the same part are also new. The control arms are also new as well. I have hade all the climate controls, custom moved to the center seat console, it looks and works perfectly as well. I am an expert in this car being I consulted for many car companies including six divisions of Ford. I have vendors that if you would like, you can purchase the manual suspension kit for $400.00 at all 4 points. I have every vendor’s info that I can share that would have anything at 70+% off any part (OEM) or 3rd party. Mind you I love this car... every body loves this car. Before the snow storm hit I did the little deed and changed the plate and took it out to the country to my Chrysler friends, they loved it as well, even thought I did not tell them I was selling it. I know they would have given me nothing but a crape over it. Their wives will not let them have it - something about a boy’s toy and getting killed by racing it... I just want to see it go to a very good home. I will miss this and the thrills from everyone who sees it. The Suburban Ford dealer people have always come out of their offices to stare at it, Listen to the incredible multimedia system filling their building and then jump out for their skins when I step 3/4 way on the gas to leave their entire building full of smoke in seconds. I never made a habit of this; I’ve treading this baby as my baby. This baby aslo has a 14 speaker system with two EQ's, crossovers, three apms, 8 - 5.1 surround sounds, two remotes controls (for a good reason) and two batteries with the second concealed in the rear as are the amplifiers. The sub-woofers are in (revers phase). This pushes the air to the inside making the bass smother with no out ward environment intrusion. I made this car to look as classy with all the toys as possible, with out confusing me with the sound of white trash, only class. It is also is sound proofed. Blast the inside all you want... get out, close the doors and you can still whisper to the person standing next to you... When playing the systems, thier are no body or chassey rattles - that is just not classy iether. This car needs a responsible owner with good head on thier shoulders... On Dec-18-10 at 18:32:53 PST, seller added the following information: Being that I changed the position of the suspension, I changed the ball joints as well - those I got for free! and they are the upgraded perma-seal model, permanently sealed no grease maintenance. I removed the catalytic converters being that the car is past 10 years so, no worries about back pressure and clogging issues; what a difference in power and milage though - both went up and made the sound more powerful in depth, even though I added a new and the original mufflers are great as well.
