3 day auction and a rare opportunity here with a very low reserve. Super clean and straight 1986 Porsche 928S with less than 80k miles. This is equipped with the desirable factory 5.0 liter V8 engine and Automatic transmission. As a late 1986 production 928 it has factory S4 options including piston operated brakes, suspension and wheel upgrades, and more. This 928 received a Wide Body GTS upgrade including the full front and rear fascia along with the rear wing. As shown, from every angle it looks like the $70k GTS's for sale on eBay right now. This Porsche is in very fine condition overall. The paint shines brightly throughout and looks like glass with no fading on top at all or on the bumpers. It is high driver quality not 100% show perfect. For the age the body is in amazing shape. It has never been in an accident and has no body damage at all. There are a few very lights scratches, but not a single ding or dent at all that I have ever found. I took well over 100 pics and a video to show the condition the very best I can. As shown it is rust free and the undercarriage is exceptional with no rust or damage. Rockers, fenders, hood, trunk, roof, quarters, all mint. This 928 just took a 200 mile trip on 1/13/11. It drives great and does not burn or leak oil. It also stays cool and does not leak coolant. It has been very well cared for and its parked in a garage here in climate controlled Southern California. I have a $3955.25 receipt from German Autohaus Service in Newhall, California from two years ago. At that time it received the essential timing belt change as well as a new master brake cylinder and flush/refill of the system. Also they performed the required major services called for by the books at that time. New battery. This beauty shows very well and looks like a much more expensive model. The work on the upgrades was superb. Gauges work as do the power windows/seats/lamps. This 928 runs very strong and shifts out great. Exhaust sounds excellent with no check lights. It will break the tires loose during driving going straight, extremely fast and powerful and looks great. Sadly with other obligations I must part ways with this Porsche. Passed last smog needed and attempted in 2009 (included). Registered until 1/16/2011 in CA with clean Pink CA title in hand.
