Newly Restored 1939 Buick Special 40, Exterior completely restored by professional restorer. Interior needs seats, we have original frames, they need to be refinished. Interior dash has original parts, just lacking seats. We are selling due to financial hardship. This would be a great project car for someone. Please feel free to submit any offers to us. Thanks a bunch, Melissa UPDATE Hi, there has been so much interest in the car and so many questions that I decided I needed to post more information for everybody. The cars engine is newly rebuilt with rods, pistons, crank, cam shaft, lifters ETC. It has a newly painted pearl white paint job using Dupont paint and metallic gray fenders. The paint job itself would of cost in the area of $5000.00. It is not a cheap paint job. We own a bodyshop and use only the best. The body had no rust holes in it, some dents were repaired. All the weather stripping is brand new. The glass is new all around. It is smokey gray. The glass felt is brand new. We located all original parts for this car. Bumpers are newly rechromed, this cost 1200.00 by itself. All stainless steel hardware is in excellant condition. Updated 12 volt wiring system with alternator for better night vision. The inside dash is complete. The car needs complete interior redo and tires and that is about it. It even has the original heater which works! Brakes have been totally rebuilt and are in good working order, wheels have new bearings. There is no title to this vehicle. I don't think its necessary with this age car, but could possibly be obtained. I am not really sure about this. It has original identification plate so that may help for people that know about that sort of thing. I hope this helps. Thanks a bunch for looking, Melissa.
