Very nice condition with new vw flat four installed a few years ago. Less then 1000 miles on the new engine and the brand new Weber Carbs have less then 100 miles on them. Car runs great with a strong five speed manual transmission. Interior is in very good condition although not original. Dash has been recovered. Back seats, carpet are pretty new. Breaks are in good shape and newer.The roof liner is original and in good shape. New radio with cd. Power windows work, but not very well. The paint is newer and black on top of original black and looks great, although there is some rust bubbles showing under the paint in spots. Floors showing some rust too. Overall not much rust though. This car is not fully restored and is not original, but it is a classic and it has never been in an accident. I bought it a few years ago from a guy in California, where the car was originally from. I have stored it most of the time that I owned it. It has never been driven in snow or rain since I owned it. I am not sure how many miles are on the car since the title does not say, but the odometer works and reads 62,260 the engine has less than 1000 miles on it. The car looks to have low mileage. The tires are new. I have the grill to exchange the Whale Tail, so you can run it either way. The car has only been driven in the summer and the carbs do not have chokes. This makes it more difficult to start on very cold days. There are a few things not working, like the blinkers (they worked a few weeks ago though), the seat belts are missing, but the bolts are there and in good condition, the wipers are slow. It looks great, runs great and I think that everything else works, but I do not warrant any of it. It is sold as is and I encourage you to come out to see it.
