Vehicle Detail

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback 289 "C" Code Springtime Yellow Manufactured in Metuchen, NJ I purchased this car in Northfield, Minnesota in 2003 from a gentleman who had purchased it in Kentucky. He had stored it for many years with the intention of restoring it, and I have done the same thing. The mileage is what shows on the odometer; I do not know if that is the mileage or not. It runs well, but it has not been street driven any real distance in over 10 years. I have the original steering wheel, tires, hubcaps, and radio, so those go with the car. You will also receive the original owners manual and a reproduction of the specifications manual, as well as all paperwork and receipts that I have. The drive train work is complete, but the body and sub-structure still need work. I am not a mechanic or a auto body expert, so I will explain the functionality and the condition of the car as accurately as possible. Please feel free to ask any question you may have and to request additional pictures. Here is a breakdown of some specifics as well as what we have done to the car and when: The engine was rebuilt in 2007 and has fewer than 100 miles. The engine was bored 30 degrees over and new 30 degree flat top pistons installed. The competition valve job was completed during rebuild with all new valves, guides, and springs installed. Competition cam kit was installed.A 10/10 crankshaft was installed, as well as a new oil pump, rings, freeze plugs, and timing chain.A new clutch assembly with fewer than 100 miles was installed.New air shocks on the front and rear, replaced all rubber bushings on sway bars and lower end of car.New radiator, alternator, and voltage regulator.Carburetor was rebuilt and is a stock 2-barrel FoMoCo.The car was converted to a dual turbo performance exhaust system in 2004.The car currently has Keystone Classic rims with Bridgestone Firehawk 70 series tires, but I have the original hubcaps and tires.Stock drum brakes with new master cylinder 2007. What I know needs to be done...this is by no means a complete list, but this is what I can say for sure: Interior needs restored; seats are original and in nice shape, though.Rear quarters have some filler and cracking around the wheel housing.Trunk lid has some rust holes in and around the lettering, but the bumpers are in pretty good shape. Some panels on the underside need replaced, especially in the trunk area. ALL OF YOU HAVE BEEN GREAT TO DEAL WITH ;) On Jan-13-11 at 09:49:04 PST, seller added the following information: We have also added a video of the car starting and running, including how it handled the ice at the top of our driveway and road. http://www.flickr.com/photos/missvickisparrotvillage/
