I purchased this vehicle a few years ago with a blown engine, there was no other damages. I rebult the engine complete wth all associated new parts which is listed below, In addition I replaced the dual mass flywheel and the clutch assembly. Shortly after the rebuilt the lifters began to make noises and the oil pressure light began to flicker at idle. I replaced the oil pump with another new one and also checked the main and connecting rod bearing clearances. all clearances were within specifcations. After Reassembly the lifter noses and flckerng oil pressure light continued. Per BMW owners manual the flickering oil pressure light at idle is normal, all that is left is the lifter noises and that will require the replacement of the lfters and the housings. For the purpose of the auction I am setting the reserve $3000.00 below to allow for a replacement engine. I have put over 2000 miles so far and in my opnion you can continue to drive car as is. Inspections welcomed. I have also conducted a 140pt Inspection email me for the report. 1998 BMW M3 72K DINAN stage 1

Let me begin by saying that the title in hand is clear and contains no branding, however the vehicle does have a salvage history as can be seen on the Auto Check report. I purchased this vehicle a few years ago with a blown engine, there was no other damages. I rebult the engine complete wth all associated new parts which is listed below, In addition I replaced the dual mass flywheel and the clutch assembly. Shortly after the rebuilt the lifters began to make noises and the oil pressure light began to flicker at idle. I replaced the oil pump with another new one and also checked the main and connecting rod bearing clearances. all clearances were within specifcations. After Reassembly the lifter noses and flckerng oil pressure light continued. Per BMW owners manual the flickering oil pressure light at idle is normal, all that is left is the lifter noises and that will require the replacement of the lfters and the housings. For the purpose of the auction I am setting the reserve $3000.00 below to allow for a replacement engine. I have put over 2000 miles so far and in my opnion you can continue to drive car as is. Inspections welcomed. I have also conducted a 140pt Inspection email me for the report.
