THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION! I bought this vehicle for the purpose of reselling it on ebay. I have a high school friend who owns an auto dealership in Ky. He allows me to check out his trade ins and lease returns for this purpose. When I find one that I'm interested in, I have it checked out mechanically. If the vehicle needs only minor repair, I buy it and have the repairs done. This Ram Van needed only a cleaning. This Ram Maxi Van runs and drives great. The engine(5.9 liter 8cyl.), transmission(automatic) preform as expected, with no unusual noises, leaks or smoking, from either, warm or cold. The van is equipped with 16" steel wheels, factory wheel covers, am/fm stereo with cassette, driver's side airbag, gray vinyl interior, front and rear heat and a/c. The rear a/c unit is a Carrier Transcool. It is mounted on the inside of the roof of the van, in the rear. All of the afore mentioned equipment is in good working order. The steering does have a small amount of play in it. The van is also equipped with bus grade flooring, and a side entry wheelchair lift. The seating in the van is for 10 passenger's. All of the seats fold up to the side to allow for wheelchair stowage. There are 4 rows of tie down hookups in the floor. I do have the tie downs for the wheelchairs. The wheelbase is 138". The GVWR is 9000lbs. The tires are size LT245/75R16. The front tires are BF Goodrich Commercial T/A's and are 80%. The rear tires are Goodyear Wrangler H/T's and are @75% . The raised roof and the wheel lift were added by The Braun corporation in July 1997. The wheelchair lift is model # L211U70ARS. The pump code is 12. The cylinder code is 31CF. The lift has a wired remote and works perfectly. The van has several scratches and dents. There are several dents in the passenger's side as well as scrapes along the driver's side. There is also a dent in the rear bumper. The top has a scrape on the front driver's corner, but there is no air or water leaks. The interior has some discoloration and small tears in the seats as well as the trim also on the side doors caused by the lift not being fully retracted before the doors were closed(I tried to show these in the pictures). THIS VAN HAS SEVERAL MINOR ISSUES, MOSTLY COSMETIC, THAT ARE LISTED AND THE BUYER SHOULD BE AWARE OF! I'm told that this van is a one owner bought new and fleet serviced by a large transport company. However, I have no proof of this claim. If anyone is interested in a more complete history of this vehicle, Carfax or Autocheck, maybe able to help.
