Relisted due to a scammer, and so my apologies to all the genuine bidders. This is a 1999 new beetle which needs a transmission repair or overhaul before it can be driven. The car is in fair condition with good black leather interior and custom "Lady Bug" accents on the factory red paint. This was my daughters car, and always attracted a lot of admiring looks and comments. The 2 litre engine runs good and has had recent timing belt, water pump and alternator. The car had one lady owner before we bought it in 2007 with mileage at around 50,000. At somewhere around 70,000 the speedometer developed a problem so was changed for a used speedo which reads around 135,000. I estimate the actual mileage to be around 75,000, but have listed the mileage in this auction as unknown. Original speedo will be included. The car needs a new headliner, and has a dent on the passenger rocker panel. The front plastic bumper needs some repair as do many of these cars. The paint is weak on the hood and will need attention. Apart from the transmission, everything seems to be working including the AC. The car is located in Houston and will need a trailer to take it away. Buyer must make own arrangements and pay transport company directly. We have the clean title on hand. Car is also for sale locally and if sold this auction will be closed.
