FORD MUSTANG ALOT OF AFTER MARKET PARTS Up for sale, An 1989 Ford Mustang Cobra. Converted from the LX. You can buy a car that just has some modes done, and then break the next thing that hasn’t been done. This car started from the motor. It was built to put a high output super charger on it. 13k was spent just into the motor before the high output super charger kit was put on. So a little less the 20 was just spent on the motor. So when you are spinning 7k on the tach and the boast is climbing you know it will hang. And then the Tramac 5 was next with the heavy duty clutch and then aluminum drive shaft and the 8.8 rear dialed in with the best gears. But wait you have to stop to, so Bear disc brakes on all 17 aluminum Cobra wheels. But that’s not it, you have to have a cooling system too, so it got an aluminum radiator and high output electric fan. Double limo tint back window to black it out and led lights around. This car is dialed in and set up to roll. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktGPSV8Oupk Here is a you tube video It has a new drive train, 10k miles on the motor, Trans, brake system, cooling system, and an upgraded suspension system. 305ci (5.0) 4 BOLT Motor and that was dynode at 540hp to the wheels, but can be turned up if wanted to. Took off the under drive pulley so it is around 500 H.P. The interior has been redone. It has a 180 BBK speedometer. Also has a custom shift light built into the dash. Fuel pressure gauge recall. It looks all stock. The leather seats, the carpet and head liner all was redone. Tint on the windows, the front is light, so as to get by with it in CA. The back is dark, limo dark. Has a sun roof which can be lift to be a vent or can be removed. In the back passenger side is the aluminum battery box. The engine is a Ford Racing short block forged crank kit 4 bolt main. Trick flow twisted Wedge aluminum heads on top. Ford Racing Roller cam and Ford racing roller rockers. Top off with trick flow powder coated aluminum valve covers. It is feed from a Vortech V-1 high output supercharger with inter cooler kit. It has Cold air intake. It is the winey style super charger. The boast is set at 12lbs though the inter cooler. Exhaust was redone from the front to the back, starting with Ford racing shorty headers, high flow cats and all the way out the back. Joey Granatelli (Granatelli Motor Sports) set this car up for the last owner. Upgrade Bosch 130 amp alternator. Ford Cobra 17' aluminum rims. The leather was redone on the seats front and back. The brake system is Bear, front and rear rotors, steal braided lines, brake proportion value. Tremec 5 speed trans, with ford racing clutch. Aluminum drive shaft. There is a lot to list and will do so. Most all of the items can be found by looking them up in a Summit Racing Catalog. There is a lot of money put into this car as you can see. The car looks clean, but the paint is not perfect. It has a few dings and rubs from a car cover. There is over 45k put into this car. And it is all dialed in, it spins the tires all the way though third gear. The car was track tested in Palmdale, CA. It has all been redone to hang and run, it runs good. Needs front tires though. It ran 10.30s on slicks at 131mph.
