I am the third owner of this very clean vehicle. 62,355 miles on original engine. Red exterior, Taupe Interior, Dark Brown Soft Top and factory Hard top in Red. 1972 was the first year of this body style with the smaller more desirable Euro bumpers. These cars were actually badged as 350SL’s in Europe, but were shipped to the States with a 4.5 Liter V8, thus the 450SL designation. Car has been serviced routinely with fresh oil changes every season (driven in the summer only), and plugs as necessary. Body is in very good condition and interior is very clean. Recent major maintenance includes new brakes (pads and rotors) as well as replacement of brake lines and brake fluid flush. Transmission fluid change and cooling system flush done two seasons ago. I believe the car had a fender bender with its original owner that was fully repaired. Car is in excellent running condition.
