Well it seems as though one of you had second thoughts, about having the winning bid last week. It seems that the seller could not be reached for the sale of this car. So here it is again! I will sell it to the highest bidder at the close of bidding. PLEASE ONLY THE SERIOUS SHOULD BID! I have started the bid at 12,000.00. This is without the Motor and the Transmission. If you are interested in the car with the Motor and/or Transmission I will work with the buyer. Thank you, Stacey I have a strong passion for 55 Chevy’s. All 55 Chevy’s have a lot of history, including this one. For 14 years, this Chevy sat unregistered,and undriven in the Mojave Desert. I have had this 55 Chevy Belaire for the past 9 years. I have put a lot of hard work in to this automobile. I started working on this Chevy by taking it completely apart. I had the frame and body media blasted. The frame was completely gutted of anything that would come off. I replaced with the QA-1 Coil over Shocks, Disk Brakes on all four wheels, Tube “A” Arms, (upper and lowers), Rack & Pinion Steering, and a 4-link suspension rear end. The rear end itself is original except the 3:36 Posi. It has also been completely Powder Coated. All parts are from Jim Meyers Performance Of Oregon. Lot’s of work has been done to the Body, Floor Boards, Quarter Panel,Trunk, and Rocker Panel’s. I am sure you will want it fine tuned before painting. I have the Hood and Fender’s as well, that are not shown in the photos. All with the body work done. I also have the stainless for around the windows and for the sides. These parts are all original and in new condition, and none of it is reproduction. What could not be fixed or polished, I bought from a Junk Yard and had redone. All these parts are still wrapped and ready. Next is a list of NEW parts I did buy after Market. I have all the Electrical and Hardware to put in Power Windows. I even have the Turquoise & White Paint to finish the car. All seats need to be reupholstered. Everything is here to put this car together. When I say “EVERYTHING IS HERE, I MEAN EVERYTHING except the Front Bumper, Paint Dividers from side window down, Wiper Motor, and Steering Wheel. The Motor is a 383 Stroker Motor with approx. 450-500 horse that is still untested, started, or completed. It also has a 400 Turbo Transmission. I have over 31,000 invested, and only some of the receipts. What I am asking for is half of what I have invested into this car. I am sure there are things I have forgotten to list. This is because it has been 4 years since I have worked on this car. I have gotten older and do not have the funding to complete it. It can be all yours for a great price!
