This is a nice 1965 driver quality Ford Thunderbird hardtop. The body is in good condition (no rust or dents) and the paint overall is good with only a small chip on the right front fender. The chrome is good driver quality with one small rust spot on the lower left front bumper. All of the glass is very nice and the windshield wipers work properly. The interior shows nicely (no rips or tears in carpet, dash, seats or headliner). All gauges work. After market AM/FM radio and power antenna. A/C has been converted and works properly. Heater and blower work along with flow-through ventilation valve. I have had work done on the brakes and they are in good condition. Power steering system works properly. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly and the transmission shifts properly. The engine compartment is clean and shows nicely. The odometer shows 37840 miles but I cannot confirm actual mileage. The car has power windows and the rear windows need attention. The front windows work but the window stops are set incorrectly. The parking brake works but must be manually released instead of automatically releasing when the transmission is put into gear which is an issue with the neutral safety switch vacuum system (I think there is a vacuum leak). All of the interior and exterior lights work including the sequenchial directional signals. The car has an after market front HD anti-sway bar which really improves cornering and it also has rear air shocks. The tires have good tread, the exhaust system is in good shape and the car has a great sound. It has been my experience that when buying driver quality classic cars, it is not uncommon to find that many things do not work which the seller fails to mention but overall, this car needs relatively little and I welcome anyone interested to look at the car.
