Sorry about the last auction being pulled folks. Ebay required some additional disclaimers in the posting due to this vehicle being imported outside of normal channels and also, there were some yahoos bidding who should not have been. Here it is again. We'll try 1 more time.... This is an imported 2005 Smart Passion for 2 that was purchased new for $28,000 by our company on 3/6/2007. Today a new Smart is $14,000 for an american version which does not have the Mercedes-Benz power train. This Smart has the Mercedes powertrain so it is a steal at this starting auction price. We are selling at a low start point because we are changing to the Prius as our company car. This Smart has been used as a fleet vehicle in our patrol Dept for the last four years and it only has a total of 23,940 miles. This european Smart was imported and converted to USDOT emissions specifications by G & K autoresellers in California and then sold to us by the Green Car co. dealership here in Seattle, Wa. We have made sure that it has had its regular services and it has been well taken care of. It runs and drives great and definitely is an attention grabber. We had ours wrapped (now removed for sale) with our company logo as it drove around Seattle and it definitely got noticed. It has power windows, AC and a manual style automatic transmission. There are some minor deficiencies to the vehicle as noted in the pictures. It has scuffs on some interior surfaces, a broken driver side tail light fascia with some other scratches and small dents surrounding. Overall this is a great little commuter / marketing vehicle that has only been driven short distances by our patrol staff. This vehicle had a complete inspection and Smart Service B completed on 11/18/2009 and passed everything with flying colors. Mileage at that time of inspection was 17425.
