Many pictures are loading, please be patient. Don't hesitate to call or email if you have any questions! This is the best one out there! Yes, the ad is long, but you won't regret reading it! Read the ad, look at the pictures and you'll see why! Your search for you're ideal Classic Chevrolet Bel Air Sedan ends here! 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air Sedan Beautiful Classic Sedan! Texas Car! No Rust! Beautiful Condition! Original Specification 235 Cubic Inch, 105 Horsepower 6 Cylinder Engine! Manual Column Shift Transmission! The first year of the iconic Bel Air! This is the one you have been waiting for! Bel Air Enthusiasts, This one is for you! Here is a very rare opportunity to get yourself a very hard to find, and unique car. This car will get you some great looks wherever you go in it! Up for auction is a beautiful original 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air Sedan. This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Of course there is no way to run an auto check or carfax history report on a 1953 model, so here is what we know about the car's history. The car's previous owner lived here in Texas. Unfortunately we don't know much else other than that, but we can tell that the car was always kept in a rust free environment as the body has no rust at all on it! The car comes with a clean, clear, lien free Texas title without any title brands whatsoever (no salvage, flood, theft, etc history!). The car's overall condition is very nice keeping in mind that this car is basically unrestored since it was sold new in 1953. You'll have a very difficult time locating a nicer original 1953 model in existence. With that in mind of course the car isn't perfect, but what's really good about this car is that you can drive it around and enjoy it as its supposed to be enjoyed without doing anything to it! It's all ready to go in its present state! If you really like to you can make a minimal investment and give the car a very light restoration (mostly light cosmetics) to really bring it out and make it something truly special, but I stress that the car doesn't _need_ anything and can be enjoyed for many years in its present state. This would be a perfect car for someone who doesn't want to drain their time and money on taking on a restoration project, but at the same time doesn't want to spend the big bucks it takes to buy a fully restored one. I've seen what else is out there, and this one is by far one of the nicest original ones out there! The car has a very classic, and very nice color combination you'll just love to parade to everyone. The color really makes the car look neat! The car's paint still shines beautifully. You can tell the car was re-painted at a point of its life. The quality of the paint job was quite nice! All in all the paint looks very fresh and the body looks even nicer especially considering its original! The trunk area is very clean, and even includes the spare tire. The body and undercarriage are rust free! When we say rust we mean areas where the car has been rusted through which this car doesn't have. If you look closely at some of the car's nooks and crannies you will find some light surface rust, but that can easily be scraped and polished off if you wish to really make this car top notch. The interior of the car is the original interior and does show plenty of age related wear. Replacement would make it look beautiful or a seat cover will also make it presentable. It really has been well kept, especially considering that the car is over 56 years old! All the windows still work great. The locks still work perfectly! If the looks of the car didn't already impress you, then getting behind the wheel and driving the car will take your breath away! For an original example its amazing that it still runs and drives this nice given its age! The car still handles very nice. The original Chevrolet wheels still look beautiful and are matched to a good set of tires! The car's original spec 235 cubic inch, 105 horsepower 6 cylinder engine still runs great! The car has plenty of power and runs great even at highway speeds! You'll really enjoy driving this beauty! Although not tested at this speed, the car does have a rated top speed of 90 miles per hour. The manual column shift transmission still shifts just as it should. The clutch still feels good! The engine and transmission work great! The engine starts up just fine and runs great! No oddball problems here, no smoking, no signs of neglect. We've never driven one of these Bel Airs that runs and accelerates as good as this one. The car will need a brake job as the brakes are a little warped. They still stop the car fine but I highly recommends you service them before taking the car out on an extended drive. Personally, I would not want to put myself in a situation where I would need to trust the brakes in an emergency stop without having them serviced first. You'll be very impressed with how nice this car is. In a world where all the Bel Airs out there are either nearing the end of their life as a result of neglect or gone completely its nice to have a car that you can sit back and say that it's original! If you don't know what exactly it means to this car to have its original unrusted floor pan, then see if you can find another Bel Air seller that can say the same thing about their car! These cars, which are already a recognized collector item, will have value that will only increase over time. With the awareness of how special this car is going up, there will surely be less and less of these cars available over time. With all that said, we are prepared to actually sell you this wonderful car. Our reserve isn't outrageous, and we do anticipate it being met well before the end of the auction. We always set our reserves very reasonably, and for far less than what other dealers sell their cars for. With these cars disappearing from the earth slowly one car at a time, its safe to say this may be your last chance to get a quality Bel air that's this good! Not many Chevrolet owners are willing to part with their prized possession, especially when its a 1953 model! There just aren't any more cars like this out there! I believe that you will never again get the opportunity to purchase a 1953 model Chevrolet Bel Air Sedan that's quite like this. There's no point in spending thousands of dollars doing a restoration when all you want is something to enjoy and drive. This is a car you can show to everyone, and enjoy it on the road! Don't miss your opportunity to own this beautiful car! This car is truly a beautiful Bel Air Sedan, even fellow Bel Air owners will be impressed by this car! You will not be disappointed! Bid early and follow the auction to the end, don't let another bidder with a couple of quick clicks of the mouse in the final minutes of the auction take your dream car away from you! Don't settle for second best! Get the car you have always dreamed of owning! Don't let this wonderful opportunity pass you by! Don't hesitate to email us using the "Contact" link on the auction page above or by phone at 210-853-2462 if you have any other questions! Take a look at this beautiful Bel Air Sedan! This one really is nice! The front is still in beautiful shape! If you have been looking for a beautiful Bel Air Sedan to call your own, your search ends here! It's incredible that its a 1953 model! The body still looks great! As you probably noticed, all the trim is intact and pictured on the car. Something thats tough to find. It's all original so just about every trim piece would look excellent if the trim was removed and re chromed. The body is rust free and is straight! Just imagine the looks you'll get when you're driving this beauty! I'm hesitant to consider this as a project car cause we have cars that are 10 years old that need interiors. Here is a car you can drive and enjoy and slowly improve it with time. The car has it where it needs it and still looks excellent. Rechrome the trim and replace the interior and you've got a car that anyone can be proud of! The body is in impeccable shape. It's been a very long time since we've seen a Bel Air with a body like this! You just can't find any of these that are this nice anymore! They aren't around or they're in collections. It's nearly impossible to find a beauty like this available for immediate purchase! Even from the rear the car looks incredible! The original bumpers, trim, and lights are still intact! Just look at how straight the car's body is! These cars were built very uniquely from other cars which makes working on the body very difficult if the car is involved in a collision. That's why its so important to have a good unmolested body! It's amazing how well this car has held up! Take a look at this beauty! The Bel Air badge on both sides still look great! If all the trim was removed and re chromed it would really bring it out but even in its current state the car is impressive! The paint still looks great! Just look at this car's beautiful paint! The weakest part of the car is its interior. Age has caught up with the original seats. The white roof still looks great! A couple of small marks can be found up here, but all in all it still looks excellent! It looks like the car was repainted what appears to be its original color or at least close to as the paint still looks nice and fresh! The original Chevrolet wheels still look good! The tires matched to them still have some good tread remaining! You'll be very pleased with the condition of the car's body! It really is nice! It's very hard to find one of these Bel Air Sedans in this kind of shape! It's very special! The glass is nice all around but we did note a couple of stars in it. One on the driver's side front window pictured here. And another on the passenger side rear. Under the trunk still looks great, in fact its better than great! Keep in mind this car hasn't been at all restored! It's held up very well these last 56 years! No rust at all! Included is the car's spare tire which also looks great! Even back here against the seat looks great! The door panels are original and if you want to enjoy the car how it is you can, but to make it look nice you will have to replace the interior. It doesn't matter how well you keep care of something eventually age will get to the materials used in making the interior. All the trim and knobs are intact! Here's your first glimpse into this 1953 Bel Air Sedan! The seats are original and in need of replacement. Depending on how you approach this interior really isn't that expensive. I really love how this car runs and drives just fine so you can enjoy it while improving it slowly over time. Most "project" cars never see the light of day because you have to put in so much work before you get to even enjoy the car. This one you can take a little bit at a time! The floor man isn't rusted through at all! If you look very closely you'll see some very light surface rust which really is unavoidable, but nothing rusted through. This is one of the nicest original floor pans we've ever seen in a Bel Air! The dash looks fantastic! It's all original! You'll be impressed with the overall condition of this car! The rear seats have fared better than the front, but still need to be replaced to improve the car's look. The floor pan is completely intact! The steering wheel and gauges still look great as you can see! All the gauges appear to be working! The car turns on with the key just as its supposed to! The original heater/defroster is right here! The headliner is also in need of attention, but has held up well given its age. Here's what you'll be talking about for a long time to come with this beautiful car, its engine! The engine still looks beautiful inside. You'll really be impressed by how nice it is! Everything runs just as its supposed to under here! You'll really be impressed by the car's mechanical condition and how easy it is to work on should you have a problem! This is the original specification 235 Cubic Inch, 105 Horsepower 6 Cylinder engine! It doesn't appear to be modified at all for performance. The engine compartment is very clean. This original engine is 56 years old! You don't have to worry about taking on someone else's project. This car is original and runs great! Where you take it is up to you! You'll really be impressed by this car! This is a beautiful car that will stun you again and again by how rare and difficult to find this car is. It's nearly impossible to find an original survivor like this! It really is incredible what a find this car is! Underneath the car its about as nice as you'll ever see for an original example! No rust at all! Things don't rust here in Texas! You can have a 56 year old car with an undercarriage as nice as this! It's amazing! You don't have to spend your hard earned money on frame work, body repair, and other rust related problems. You can put this car on the road and enjoy it as it was meant to be driven! On just about every other car I've seen these frame rails are starting to rust through. Not this one!
