This Freelander is a top of the line version, HSE and has a good history, but needs an engine, because it did suffer the common cylinder liner issue for this year. The transmission and transfer case are good, and it was running when it came in, but had the classic knock in the engine. Upon teardown, it was apparent it needed a complete rebuild. It still turns over, and it is not locked up!.If you have a good engine, or you can fix it yourself, you could have a awesome Freelander. The cost for me as a dealer to repair it and try to re-sell it for a profit, just does not make good business sense. So, bid away, and you could end up on the right side of this deal! On Dec-11 at 8:25:30 PST, seller added the following information: After several questions, I Just wanted to describe the overall condition, and the tire condition. The body/paint I would describe as very very clean, and shiny. I see no signs of paint repair, or damage. Tires are at 60%, and look good. Interior is very very nice, and after a basic detail, will look like new. This is a very good looking vehicle, and you will not be dissapointed with the visual condition. Bid with confidence!
