1974 Opel Manta Sport Coupe, 4cyl, 1.9L, 3spd auto, this vehicle was restored by previous owner, it is an amateur restoration, not perfect but shows very well. It has a lot of new parts, original Opel Rally wheels with new tires. It is definitely a head turner and would make a nice weekend driver! It has current PA inspection and it drivable as-is. CD player as well.The bad, the automatic flywheel has developed a crack and will either need to be replaced or welded, I believe the teeth portion where the starter catches to start the car has either cracked or the weld broke and rattles at idle. When I purchased the car, it would make a slight noise when started, and has gotten worse, however it only makes the noise at idle, I stopped driving the car as a result a few months ago and haven't gotten around to fixing it. It's not really a difficult thing to replace, you will have to drop the transmission and replace it. Again it runs and drives the way it is, but It would be better to replace it now than later. I have many toys, Z06 corvette, GTO, Cadillac CTS-V, Olds 442, I drag race them all at ATCO Raceway and they are all in my garage in need of repairs so this one is on the bottom of my list. So I figured let me see is someone is interested in the Opel because I would hate to see it sit until I get time to fix it. It is very nice and I even thought about putting a V6 or V8 in it, but again I have lot's of projects that are ahead of this one. You can drive it as-is, and It should make it anywhere you want to go but will get worse, the flexplate can be bought here on Ebay or on various Opel Forums, it is not an exotic part like some might think. I have seen them for $50 bucks plus shipping. $500.00 Deposit due at end of auction within 24hrs, balance due in cash when picked up. I have sold other car's through Ebay and will help arrange pickup with your shipper, I can also deliver the car within a 50 miles radius for a small fee, I have a car trailer. I had previously stated there was no rust, well I just noticed this while taking more pics, I am guessing because it is sitting outside.
