You are bidding on a City-owned and serviced 1999 Chevy C2500 Regular Cab 2-wheel drive pickup with a covered service/utility bed on it. This truck is powered by the nice 6.5 liter turbo diesel engine and automatic overdrive transmission. IT HAS ONLY 69,520 MILES ON IT. Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below to see the entire report for free). This is not your normal worn-out work truck. It is in very nice shape. The body is very straight (a couple of VERY small hail dents on the roof, which is on the carfax report) and the paint is still very shiny and bright. You will find a few minor rock chips and scratches here and there but nothing major on the cab. The utility box even looks to have been lightly used. The truck has been in the Dallas, Texas area it's entire life, so has NO rust on it. The covered bed is a nice feature and I do have keys to all the locks. The truck even comes with a working spotlight, strobe lights and traffic direction sign. PLEASE LOOK AT THE 60 PLUS PICTURES I HAVE POSTED ON THIS TRUCK (hint: if you click on a small picture, it will replace the large one. Just scroll back up to see it.). The interior of the cab shows very little wear. There are no holes, tears or rips in the rubber floor mat (except where a radio was mounted), vinyl bench seat or headliner. The truck appears to have never been smoked in.
I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. I HAVE ALL THE SERVICE RECORDS ON THIS TRUCK FROM THE DAY IT WAS NEW! IT HAS BEEN EXTREMELY WELL TAKEN CARE OF IT'S ENTIRE LIFE. We found virtually nothing this truck needed. It is ready to be driven anywhere and be put right to work. The truck has NO leaks or drips, does not smoke and the transmission shifts out smoothly and solidly. It has no shimmies or shakes at 70 mph on the freeway. All the electronic equipment works like new. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle. I take pictures of all my vehicles as they are when they come to me. I don't detail them and shine them up to hide stuff in the pictures. The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST. . will have this one detailed and awaiting the winning bidder.
