Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1970 Z28 Camaro non-console automatic that has been pretty much stripped. It is a pretty early run 03A car as well. This Z28 is a great candidate for a full restoration. The front end sheet metal that comes with it is all there but needs work or replaced. The rear quarters need either patch panels or replaced. The doors have some surface rust but appear to be solid with no holes. The trunk has no holes and is pretty solid. The floors are solid except for under the rear seats where there are a couple holes and a hole that had been patched on the front drives side where yuour right foot would be. The roof has no issues and around the windows are also solid. The rear frame rails are decent with holes just in the bends on each, which is pretty typical of these cars. Pics are the car were kinda hard to take in my garage, but i did my best. No glass comes with the car and the rear end thats in the car is a buddies of mine, and he wants it back. But the winning bidder may be able to purchase it if he wants to let it go. I do know where the original 12 bolt rear end is if the guy will part with it. This car is beingsold as pretty much a shell, pretty much the only thing in the interior left is the carpet. The subframe is good but some parts have been taken off. If there are any questions please email. I WILL NOT TAKE THE VIN AND TRIM TAG OFF AND SELL IT...SO DO NOT ASK. Wining bidder is responsilble for pick up. On Dec-25-10 at 13:57:43 PST, seller added the following information: Ok......for all you guys that keep sending me messages saying this is not a real Z28......the 28.19 on the trim tag denotes this car as being a real Z28. The Z28 was not stamped into the trim tag until later on in 1970. This is an early run, first week of March 1970 Z28 therefore no Z28 on the tag. And, the car has the two bolt holes in the floor board for the bolt to the floor gas pedal, provisions for the rear sway bar in the rear end and i saw the original 12 bolt rearend in the car before it was removed. The quick ratio power steering box has been sold. Trust me..this is a real Z28...just needs new life. I have attatched a pic of the car as it sits now. The windshield will not be sold with the car. Many parts were sold off the car and pretty much just the shell remains. My buddy will let the rearend go to the winner. Its out of a 1974 Firebird and it s a 10 bolt with a 3.08 posi. He has told me the price of the rear end and it will be sent to the winner at the end of the auction. On Dec-27-10 at 15:34:27 PST, seller added the following information: **************Couple people have asked about the title. I have a clear Ohio in my name in my hands, there are no worries about the title***********************
