You are bidding on a 2004 Dodge Sprinter; This vehicle is a 2500 series, diesel engine with a high top and 158" WB. The vehicle has a blown engine, which occurred around 400,000 miles. Other than the engine, the vehicle drives nicely. As you can see from the photos, this vehicle needs cosmetic work. It was driven primarily in New York state and has several rusts spots throughout. It was a retired FedEx truck when I bought it. I put about 180,000 miles on the truck. I have had several new parts put on it. Engine: THE VEHICLE HAS A BLOWN ENGINE. (VEHICLE IS A PARTS VEHICLE OR WOULD NEED TO BE RESTORED) The turbo works fine. Drive Train: This vehicle has a newly restored transmission as well as the rear end. Exterior: As you can see from the exterior, it needs cosmetic work. All of the FedEx decals have been removed. There are several rusts spots throughout the vehicle (See photos). The back doors shut, but are not the original doors. The previous owner of the doors did a poor weld job on the door release. I would recommend getting new doors installed if you keep the vehicle to drive. The side door works but has come off track and needs to be fixed. The right side rear lens has cracks/hole. The windshield has a crack on passenger side (4 inch half circle). The previous owner used a metal brace to repair the passenger side mirror ( See photos) Interior: The interior is not in bad shape for the amount of use. The drivers seat is worn and has tears. (See photos) Several of the vent louveers are missing and or broken. The AM/FM/CD player works but the CD player has some problems. The fuse box will need to be replaced. (I have a spare). There is a back up camera which works properly and is helpful when backing up. Tires: Although tires appear to show a pattern of a problem, please understand the tires are from a different Sprinter. New rotors were installed, but it may need brake pads if it is going to be restored. (See Photos) Newly installed parts; - Transmission, Rear End, Transmission Line - Front Shocks, Rotors on Front and Rear - Alternator, Serpintine Belt, Battery - Turbo Resignator, Turbo Hose, Fuel Filter - Radiator, Radiator Condensor Summary: I live in NY, but the vehicle is being sold/stored from Morgantown, WV. The vehicle must be picked up before January 6th 2011. The vehicle can NOT be driven. It must be towed or carried on a flatbed. The drive shaft has been disassembled for easy wenching. The vehicle is being sold "AS IS". There will be a non-refundable deposit of $ 150.00 within 48 hrs. This is to encourage serious bidders only.
