I have for sale a 1994 BMW 740IL. Green with a Tan Interior. It has practically electronic everything. Has the 4.0V8 engine that runs great. The motor has about 100000 Miles on it. I recently bought if from one of my best friends that has had it for the past 4 or 5 years and it had been great for him. It has literally a brand NEW set of $600 Good Year Eagle Tires under it. Reason for selling is i have no idea how to work on these. This BMW has a problem with the transmission. It is slipping, but not as in needing a rebuild. When it starts slipping it says on the dash "Trans Program" Which if you look that up on Google means it either really needs a trans fluid flush and filter, or it is pretty low on fluid. I honestly can not figure out how to check it. And when it gets going down the road you can give it some gas and it downshifts and takes off fine with no slipping. BUT i am not a BMW mechanic. It could verry well need a trans rebuild, or just more fluid. It does have a couple other small things wrong with it, as in the gas Door lid just broke off and i do have it in the trunk.it is missing some of the trim around the windshield, and it is cracked. 2 pieces of trim on the side has came off because of the clips, and i do have those in the trunk also. there is the normal scratches and dents and a couple small places of rust, just surface tho. The motor has a valve cover leak from the right side. Not bad tho. and after it sets for about 2 weeks it will smoke a little at first crank up. The car is very nice and i would love to keep it, but i do need the money. It does come with the full size spare, and all the Original BMW paperwork and handbooks for it. I am being COMPLETELY honest about everything i know about the car. If you have any questions/offers for this car just let me know! Im Going to start the Bid at $1.25. Lol. So lets see what happens.
