This car was listed and sold in November, but the buyer never responded to my requests, so I'm re-listing the car. Please don't bid if you don't intend to buy. I just replaced the 12V battery 12/11/10. This is a great deal for a very good car. It may have 309,000 miles on it, but it runs and drives excellent. 3 Cyl. 1 Liter, Manual Transmission w/ AC and Climate Control. 65 MPG. This car is very 100% complete and original, never smoked in. It doesn't leak or burn any oil, it is very dependable. I bought this car in 2005 with 178,000 miles on it. I change the motor oil every 5,000 miles with Mobile One synthetic, and the transmission gear oil every 30,000 miles with Honda Manual Transmission Oil. The main battery pack was diagnosed as deteriorated when I bought the car in 2005. It is the original main hybrid battery. When you drop the battery level 1 or 2 bars, it trips the dash IMA warning light. I reset it by disconnecting the 12V battery for a few seconds. While it re-calibrates, the battery has plenty of power, so I think it may possibly need a new battery control module. Rebuilt hybrid batteries are available online for approx. $1000. Check engine light stays on, my mechanic says its probably the other oxygen sensor. The windshield is cracked from bottom to top as shown in photos. The drivers window sticks on occasion in the full "up" position. Second gear grinds only when you down-shift, all other shifting is fine. The steering wheel has some deterioration as shown in photos. The rear hatch release only works when you use the key in the rear lock. Paint on roof is starting to "haze". It has not started to flake or peel. Headlights are yellowed and a little fogged as shown in photos. Tires are in excellent condition, 70% tread remaining. Front brake pads replaced about 1 year ago, 70-80% remaining, rear brakes: 25-30% remaining. I just had a oxygen sensor replaced 11/13. Hybrids are smog exempt thru 12/31/10 in California.Registration expires Sept. 2011. This car was used for commuting 90 miles per day. If you want to preview and test drive the car, call me.
