1985 Mercedes-Benz 300D Turbo Diesel Kept in the family since it was purchased new in 1985. The car was purchased by my grandparents who drove it until it was given to my mom in 2001 and a couple of years later i received the keys. The car has never been in any sort of accident, and no major damage can be found on the car. I scraped the passenger side back-quarter panel on a wheelbarrow, and there are spots of body rust (serious buyers ask for detailed pictures). There are a few mechanical issues that could be fixed but are not essential which include: A/C not working Water Leak from air vents on the hood Power Locks have been shut off (works on a vacuum system that has a leak somewhere along the lines which are ALMOST all original) Back Passenger Window has been disconnected Dashboard Lights sometimes do not come on (loose wire easy fix I've been told) Original Radio needs to be reconnected or a new one put in (car already WIRED FOR sub-woofers/amps/etc.) Although not a mechanical problem, I had the windows tinted (25% I believe) which has faded and been damaged over the past 7 yrs As mentioned above, the car comes wired for speakers and amplifiers in the trunk although that can be easily removed. The car was broken into and everything stolen but the wiring. This explains the damage to the window tint (tiny triangle window on back passenger door untinted), but there was no body damage done to the car during this (i.e. no pry bars, and no scratches or dents). This is my first time selling on eBay so please bear with me. I have not worked out all of the details but I am willing to discuss delivery/payment details with serious buyers.
