Vehicle Detail
An exceptional 1934 Ford Roadster, garaged and well maintained with only 5,000 miles since restoration. Upgrades include modernized hydraulic brakes, tube gas shocks, and 12 volt electric system. It is very similar to a Timmis '34 Ford as the body and fenders have been replaced with fiberglass, with all restored original components on the chassis, the hood and radiator/grille, all interior parts and all convertible top pieces, and bumpers and spare tire are all restored to original. Chrome is in good shape with minor pitting in spots. Paint and exterior are in excellent condition and the undercarriage and chassis show no rust as can be seen in the pictures. The interior is in very good shape and is upholstered with brown leather which has some minor wear. The car runs and drives very well and starts right up after ignition. It has an electric shut off switch to maintain battery power when it is not in use. The upgrades to the suspension, brake system and motor make this car much more nimble and safe than an average 1934 Ford as well as having much more torque, horsepower and reliability. This is a rust-free California car although it is currently registered in North Carolina. It is being auctioned at a very reasonable reserve. Serious bidders only please. Features and Upgrades Include: 1951 Mercury Flathead Motor, (4? x 3 5/16? bore, 260 cu. in.) Finned Aluminum heads Aluminum Intake manifold with Holly 650 4 barrel carburetor Jet Coated cast iron headers 1939 Ford 3 speed Synchro transmission 4:11 rear end Kelsey Hayes 16? wire wheels 12 volt system Electric fan Blue dot tail lights
