This 525 recently had the misfortune of blowing the main coolant hose going into the radiator and subsequently overheated the engine. The car will need significant engine repair or replacement. The rest of the drive-train is in great condition and all of the electronics are in working order (windows, sunroof, locks, seats, radio, etc.) In its current condition, the car is NOT driveable. It will power up BUT WILL NOT START!! There fore the winning bidder will need to make arrangements to have the car towed after purchase. Used engines with low miles are abundantly available here on eBay or on www.car-part.com . This car will be a GREAT DEAL for its lucky new owner!! Overall, the car looks great. It’s been garage kept with maintenance performed according to manufacturer specifications and it’s CarFax certified with no discrepancies! On the exterior there are only a few minor cosmetic issues: the trunk lid has a small spot where the paint chipped off as well as some stone chips on the hood and front bumper from routine highway driving. Additionally, the front headlamps will need to be buffed out to eliminate the haze (very common on these cars). On the interior: it looks practically new with the exception of some minor signs of wear on the driver’s seat bolster, a broken cup holder below the a/c controls(very common on these cars) as well as some minor stains on the carpets. As far as the electronics, everything is in working order with no pixels burned out in the radio, a/c or instrument cluster. Mechanically: the car needs to have the motor checked out. I do not know enough about mechanics to determine the extent of damage the engine has so plan for a replacement in worst case scenario. I don’t want to sound repetitive but I want to make sure that everyone understands that this vehicle DOES NOT RUN IN IT’S CURRENT CONDITION!!
