This car has "shark" like nose found on current F1. Wow a 20 year old car was ahead of its time. Same engine, same transmission without any overhaul. What a reliable engine and powertrain. I bought this car when i was going through divorce and needed cheap transportation, but this is my 8th BMW, the only brand i trust to be reliable no matter how many miles. I had seen it in a heated garage where it sat for the last 8 years and fell in love with it, even before I knew i would end up needing it. I drive it on business trips and it has never let me down. I even got 27 mpg on hiway. The body and paint is in remarkable shape, It was buffed then fresh coat of cornuba wax applied. The Alpine white is stunning and I get compliments all the time. A/c blows cold and is r134. I am buying a bigger car, I'm over 6'1" and need to stretch out on long hauls. The last 2 owners were both wealthy and this car was their toy. Lots of regular maint done at dallas BMW dealers. Trans shifts smooth, never grinds. Front tires brand new, rears 80% tread. Body is amazingly straight and paint is beautiful. Slight ding l rr door and 2 baby dings in deck lid and 1 paint hickey - see pic. This is a VERY reliable BMW. It starts and runs every time they key is turned. No smoke, ever. Abs still works fine as does pwr steering. Cruise works as do all the signal lites. Odo is inop but speedo works fine. I needed good solid transportation and I never dog this car, but it does want to take off. Drivers seat was broken, so I replaced it with '95 BMW seat, it is brown leather. I bought it , headed straight to Orieleys , put a battery in it and never looked back. It has never let me down. I am ocd when it comes to preventative maintenance and I put the new driveshaft in because my mechanic did all over check and u joints were bad in old one. I still have half the old drive shaft with good guibo and fr shaft length.
