I’m selling my Calypso Red 1991 BMW E31 850i Automatic. The car has a M70 12 cylinder 5.0L engine with 137,500k miles that has always been very well serviced and maintained. All services and maintenances are current with many new parts. I have a stack of all service records and receipts for everything that has been done. Car is fully loaded with all the luxuries; EDC suspension (electronic dampening control), sunroof, great working heater and a/c, heated memory seats, factory 6 CD changer, indexing steering wheel and windows and many more! The car is in perfect running condition and has always been very reliable. There are no leaks of any kind or any hidden mechanical problems. Runs silky smooth with lots of power (300HP) and does not have any of the common wheel shakes or vibrations. Car has never been involved in an accident. Recent new parts and services: Tune-up (spark plugs, air filter, oil change) New batteries 2 Updated DK motors (throttle bodies) OEM complete fuel pump assembly (new fuel level sender, 2 pumps and housing) BMW original NEW water pump (not unreliable rebuilt unit) New thermostat New Ate PremiumOne Slotted Front and Rear Rotors New BMW original front and rear brake pads New front upper control arms Freshly balanced wheels and tires ( tires are 245/50ZR16 with 50%+ tread remaining) The winning bidder will get the complete file of receipts. Above, are just a few of the most recent repairs/services made. A few minor items still needing attention: Paint on roof slightly sun damaged (please refer to pictures) - I am mentioning this as the rest of the paint on the car is pretty close to perfect. I received a quote for $250 to paint the roof to factory standards. If winning bidder would like, I can have this done for winning bid plus $250. Driver side exterior door handle does not work (common e31 failure). I am including, with the sale of the car, a used replacement door handle. OBC or often called MID has missing pixels, a common issue with e31’s Driver side seat has slight wear at outermost lower bolster, no bigger than the diameter of a dime. Also, has a split on the front lower seam, about 3 inches long (please refer to pictures) Rear right center cap missing Aside from the 5 things mentioned above, the car does not have any other issues and is in 100% great condition.
