Up for sale is a barn fresh1968 BMW R69S. It has been in storage for about 16 years before I got it. Overall condition is about a 6.5-7 out of 10. What I have done since it was rolled out of storage is: new front tire and tube, replaced air filter, plugs, oil, removed and resealed the gas tank, new fuel lines, and a good cleaning. It runs good but may need some fine tuning and cable adjustment. It has strong compression and lots of spark. The gears shift through smooth and the brakes are in good condition. The electrical system all works including the headlight and bar mounted turn signals. The battery works good and holds a charge. The bike comes with the matching fairing and hard saddle bags. The fairing has the mounting bars but not the hardware to attach it to the bike. It comes with the original tool kit, the original carbs(it has the larger carbs on it), a new set of grips, extra points/condenser, clutch disc, and some small parts. The bike has a clear CA title and has been on nonop since 1994. With some small adjustments and fine tuning this bike will be ready to ride. The condition of 6.5 to 7 reflects there is some surface rust on the wheels, frame, and on some of the painted fenders and tank.
