NO RESERVE HIGH BIDDER WINS! I’m assisting a friend with the sale of this RARE 1978 Deluxe Sunroof Bus still wearing it's original California Blue License Plates! This is a very RARE 1978 Volkswagen SUNROOF bus and very SOLID for being 32 years old; although, it’s not perfect. I was told this Deluxe Sunroof edition is one of the rarest of the late buses and VERY hard to obtain. I have looked around and only seen a small handful in existence. The sunroof works like the day it left the factory in Germany. The exterior shows normal wear and tear, touchups, dents and imperfections -- which is common for a 32-year-old vehicle. The interior is in nice condition for its age including the near perfect headliner. The floors and frame are NICE and SOLID. The bus is being sold AS IS not running. The previous owner told me it was running when parked years ago. I have a CLEAR California title on its way. If your looking for a project that you can drive with some time and effort, this is it. The only reason I'm selling is because I have accumulated too many toys and don't have enough time for them all. I would like to see this bus go to someone who has the time to finish it, drive it and show it off like it should be, and appreciate it's increasingly rare beauty.
