Vehicle Detail

1985 Mercury Marquis Colony Park Wagon for sale by owner. I have owned this car for about 4 years and have invested over $3,000 in repairs. Most of the work has been done at the local Ford garage using Motorcraft parts. This is an excelent work car, teen first car or a good complete car for restoration. Work that has been completed on this vehicle as follows. New Midas exhaust, new tie rods, water pump, 4 new Firestone tires(5,000 mi wear), 4 new shocks, rear springs, new fuel line from engine to tank, full new brake lines from front to rear, drivers power window motor, column shift vacuum moduel, valve cover gaskets, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and new pig tail plug for ignition moduel. Regular maitnance has been done along with transmission fluid and coolant flush. It has full power options. V8 5.0 fuel injection. All features work except the air conditioning which needs recharged. It has the standard AM/FM radio and temp controls. Power drivers seat. Glove box remote fuel door release. Rear window defroster. The interrior is like new for a 1985 vehicle. There is not a stain rip or tear to any of the seats. The headliner is still intact and in new condition. It does have the 3rd row seats along with the factory carpet mat for the cargo area. A class 3 hitch is on this car along with an old style brake box. In the glove box is the orginal owners manual and service records from the first owner. Im guessing the milage is correct account of the great condition of the seats. I reciently drove this car to New Jersey from Ohio and back on a week long trip in June to my yearly car club meet and had no trouble at all. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. It does show its age with the faded paint and woodgrain but is a good over all vehicle. Im selling this account I just have too many project cars and must down size otherwise I would keep it and continue to enjoy it. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
